Microsoft Clarity

With your consent, this website uses Microsoft Clarity, a web analytics service by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052, USA. Clarity shows how visitors use the site, for example through heatmaps and recordings of sessions. I use this to find pages that are hard to use and to improve them.

Clarity records interactions such as page views, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, together with technical data like browser, device type, screen size and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Text you type into form fields is masked and not recorded. Clarity uses cookies (for example clck, clsk, CLID and MUID) to recognise a visit across pages, kept for up to one year.

Clarity is only loaded after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner; before that, nothing is sent to Microsoft. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG). Data can be processed in the USA; Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can withdraw your consent at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

More information: Microsoft Privacy Statement.
